The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club

The Lodge at Sea Island is a golf resort where the only thing you'll have to think about are which club to choose. Your personal butler will take care of anything your caddy can't. Situated along the beaches of St. Simons Sound and the Atlantic, The Lodge debuted in 2001 as an English manor and clubhouse. The estate features a mere 40 guest rooms, most featuring ocean and/or golf fairway views. They're elegantly furnished with antiques, overstuffed chairs, exposed beam ceilings, and deep soaking baths. The Lodge wine cellar houses an impressive backbone of 4,500 bottles and 750 different labels. The Lodge is the heart of Sea Island's legendary golf mecca. If the greens don't cooperate, The Golf Learning Center employs three of Golf Digest's top 50 teachers. Lodge guests also have full access to eight clay tennis courts, a 65,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, sailing, deep sea-fishing, salt marsh kayaking, trap and skeet shooting and five miles of private ocean beach.
